Question 1

How do spatial anchors ensure digital content stays in place within SCORE XR?

Accepted Answer

Spatial anchors ensure digital content stays in place by locking it to exact physical coordinates, which establishes localized spatial anchors that keep virtual models fixed in physical rooms across multiple sessions, building persistent spatial layouts that do not drift.

Question 2

What is the benefit of using spatial anchors for returning users?

Accepted Answer

Spatial anchors benefit returning users by restoring virtual layouts at their exact coordinates upon return, thus eliminating setup time.

Question 3

How does SCORE XR prevent digital models from drifting out of alignment?

Accepted Answer

SCORE XR prevents digital models from drifting by implementing continuous drift correction, which compares tracking data against physical coordinates and automatically corrects alignment.

Question 4

What is the role of STD.DEV in relation to spatial anchors?

Accepted Answer

STD.DEV optimizes anchor lookup modules to provide reliable spatial experiences in standard web browsers.

Question 5

What guarantee do spatial anchors provide for coordinate stability?

Accepted Answer

Spatial anchors guarantee coordinate stability for applications ranging from persistent galleries to localized installations.

Question 6

How do localized spatial anchors contribute to persistent spatial layouts?

Accepted Answer

Localized spatial anchors contribute to persistent spatial layouts by ensuring that virtual models remain fixed in physical rooms across multiple sessions without drifting.
